Most beautiful bay of Curaçao

Lagoon is a quiet village, located on the west coast of Curaçao, on about 25 to 30 kilometers from Willemstad. It is a unique location, an authentic fishing village, where you are among the locals.

The village is located on a small bay, where you can see fishermen sailing out every day and returning with delicious fresh fish. This fish can of course be bought fresh, directly from the fishermen. There is a small beach on the bay, with some trees that provide welcome shade, there is also a kiosk and wonderfully calm water where you can enjoy fantastic snorkeling. Perfect for a nice, quiet holiday, don't expect a busy nightlife or tourist attractions in Lagoon, but a pure piece of Curaçao.

Environment

There is a diving school in the vicinity, a local minimarket 300 meters away, a Chinese takeaway 400 meters away and a restaurant with daily specials and pizzas about a 10-minute drive away. After about a 3-minute walk you will find a dive restaurant with BBQ next door and delicious menus. There are two larger supermarkets at a distance of a few kilometers. There is a large supermarket close to Willemstad, where even Dutch products are available. Also nearby are the bays of Santa Cruz, Playa Jeremi and Knip baai, the latter certainly among the most beautiful bays in Curaçao!

Both Willemstad and Hato International Airport are approximately a 20-minute drive away. In addition, a bus runs to Willemstad and back twice an hour.
